Salute To The General (Nathan Cross) novel Chapter 3221

Marquis Auburn was killed within seconds!

The other elite vampires were astounded.

They soon realized that the three men before them were top-class elites among the humans and were not to be reckoned with.

“Run!” one of the vampires yelled, alerting the rest of the “high and mighty” vampires to retreat.

Unfortunately, Nathan, Colin and Sevan had no intentions of letting them leave the place alive.

They were in sync as they rushed to kill the remaining vampires.

Those elite vampires could not escape even a hundred meters before they were slaughtered by Nathan and the others, leaving Blossom stunned.

None of the elite vampires from Marquis Auburn's group made it out alive.

Nathan took out a handkerchief and wiped the blood off the back of his hands as he calmly instructed Colin and Sevan, “Get rid of these bodies. Don't let them expose our location.”

Colin and Sevan answered in sync, “Yes, Sir!”

On the other hand, Blossom finally returned to her senses. She stared at Colin and Sevan, who were about to discard the bodies of the elite vampires into the bushes.

She hurried to stop them. “Wait a minute. Their bodies are still worth a fortune.”

With that, Blossom took out her dagger. Under curious gazes from Nathan and the others, she deftly dug out a small diamond-shaped green crystal from Auburn's chest.

Nathan was curious. “What's that?”

Blossom was patient as she explained, “It's the vampire's core. After killing vampires, we bounty hunters would dig out their cores and exchange them for money. Do you not know that, Sir?”

It turned out that there was a crystal in the heart of every vampire. That crystal was known as their core.

Vampires with different levels of strength had cores of different sizes and colors.

Blossom respectfully held out the cleaned cores to Nathan. “Sir, you've hit the jackpot. These are your trophies from killing those vampires. Please accept them.”

Nathan could care less about the things dug out from the vampires' bodies. His eyebrows knitted into a frown as he said in disgust, “They're dirty. I don't want them.”

Blossom stared at Nathan with wide eyes and disbelief.

These cores are worth a ton of money. Just the green marquis core itself is worth millions. How can he be disgusted by the cores? How arrogant!

Blossom quickly uttered, “Sir, these cores can be exchanged for a handsome amount of money...”

Nathan replied, “Keep them if you like. I don't like to keep things dug out from bodies on me.”

Blossom was stunned.

With a bitter smile, she said, “All right, then. I'll hold onto them since you don't like keeping them on you. But don't worry, Sir. When we reach Nightfire Underground City, we'll exchange them for bounty. The money will, of course, still be yours. I won't ask for a single cent.”
