Salute To The General (Nathan Cross) novel Chapter 3249

“Oh my god, it's really Mr. Cross. He's really here!”

“Mr. Cross has arrived. We're saved!”

“Hail Mr. Cross!” The humans who were initially being pushed back and in a precarious situation by the vampires became excited upon seeing Nathan appear in the distance. These people even forgot that just half an hour ago, many of them were cursing Nathan. Nathan, accompanied by Colin and Sevan, his two subordinates, walked towards this side. His speed seemed slow but was actually fast. In a moment, he had already arrived on the battlefield. The vampires on the scene didn't immediately recognize Nathan. They squinted their eyes and stared at Nathan's group, eager to leap into action. Beryn frowned slightly and casually let go of Shadow Widow while assessing Nathan from head to toe.

His capable subordinate, Faison, stepped forward and sternly shouted, “Who are you to dare act so recklessly in front of Lord Beryn?” The vampire elite on the scene coldly stared at Nathan, like a group of butchers in a slaughterhouse suddenly seeing a fat lamb barging in. Nathan calmly said, “Is my name something you have the right to question?”

Nathan's voice wasn't loud, but it was as powerful as muffled thunder, audible throughout the venue. Faison, who was standing in front of Nathan, was particularly affected. Nathan's words made his ears ring, and his face turned flush. Unable to hold back, he vomited a mouthful of blood. When Faison raised his head again and looked at Nathan, his eyes were filled with fear. He resembled a frightened dog facing a tiger, his legs weak and trembling as he moved aside. The vampire warriors on the scene, as well as the elite, were all shocked, their expressions turning serious. Even Beryn, who had a previously frivolous attitude, revealed a serious expression for the first time. He examined Nathan and said slowly, “One who talk big must have extraordinary abilities.”

“Seems like you have some skills. No wonder you dare to act recklessly in front of me.”

“You just said you wanted to kill me. Well, now I'm giving you a chance. I want to see how capable you really are.” Nathan responded calmly, “I may not be highly skilled, but killing you is just a piece of cake.”
