Leaving the underground boxing ring, Shadow Widow glanced at Nathan. She quietly apologized, “I'm really sorry for troubling you this time, Mr. Cross. Don't worry, I'll have someone return your one million shortly.” Nathan said with a smile, “No rush.” Upon hearing this, Shadow Widow was taken aback. She looked at Nathan with confusion.
Nathan explained with a smile, “Didn't you come to me yesterday with a group of bounty hunter leaders, hoping that I could offer you a job? Allow me to tell you now, I am in dire need of manpower. I'm short of warriors like you who can fight. I want to hire a group of bounty hunters and mercenaries to fight for me. The commission will be given at the highest market price. Would you all be willing to do it?”
With a face full of delight, Shadow Widow quickly said, “It's an honor to serve you, Mr. Cross. My subordinates and I are all willing to work for you.”
Nathan nodded with satisfaction. “Very good! Please gather all the other bounty hunter team leaders for me. I want to ask them if they are willing to work for me.”
Shadow Widow hurriedly said, “Yes, Mr. Cross.” Soon, upon hearing the news, Massimo and a group of bounty hunter leaders rushed over.
Everyone heard that Nathan planned to hire them and would offer the highest market rate for their commissions. Without any hesitation, they agreed and expressed their willingness to work wholeheartedly for Nathan. Nathan nodded in satisfaction.
“Very well! Everyone here has fought against the vampires in the vampire-occupied territory, earning commissions as warriors. I have faith in your abilities. However, even if you all join together, there are only ten thousand of you, which is not enough.”
Shadow Widow and the others, including Massimo, were all dumbfounded.
Are ten thousand mercenaries not enough?
Shadow Widow couldn't help but ask, “Excuse me, Mr. Cross, how many people do you want to hire, and could you please tell us about the specific tasks?” Nathan said with a smile, “Thirty thousand. I need thirty thousand mercenaries or bounty hunters to fight for me. The specific mission is to fight against the vampires, but I can't share the details with you just yet. Compensation and casualty benefits are both provided according to the highest standards in the industry. Those who believe in me can stay. If you don't trust me, feel free to leave now.”
