Nathan didn't dodge or hide. He faced the battle head-on.
They moved at breakneck speeds, fiercely fighting against each other without any fancy tricks.
Boom boomboom
As the two individuals continued to fight, a series of thunderous explosions echoed across the air. Those at the scene watched the battle with eyes filled with awe. Even Rogan, who was beside Leopold, couldn't help but exclaim, “This is too powerful! It's like a battle of the gods!”
Leopold slowly shook his head. “Mr. Cross' strength is undoubtedly unquestionable. After Max became a vampire, his combat abilities also became terrifyingly powerful. But if you say this battle is of the gods, I don't think it's entirely accurate.”
Rogan asked in confusion. “Why?”
“Their Patriarch, Herod, is way more powerful and terrifying.”
Upon hearing that, Rogan's body stiffened momentarily before he said, “That's right, Max is already so terrifying. I wonder how much stronger the Patriarch can be.”
“This full-scale war with the Blood Clan is truly challenging. I hope the divine being will favor us humans and help us defeat our enemies!” Leopold said solemnly. Not far away, Colin happened to hear Leopold's words.
It's better to rely on Mr. Cross than pray to the gods. Divine beings are nothing but an imaginary existence. However, the strongest God of War, Mr. Cross, is a living person. He will surely lead humans out of the darkness.
Buro decisively said, “Let's go and help Mr. Max in the battle.”
Parkhurst said, “Okay!”
The next second, they lunged toward Nathan at incredible speeds. Nathan had just landed three powerful punches on Max and broke through his defense. He was preparing to deliver a fatal blow to Max's exposed chest.
Unexpectedly, someone interfered with his duel with Max. He felt two forces coming at him from both sides simultaneously. He didn't have time to observe. Relying on his many years of combat experience, he determined the speed, strength, and attack angle of the two assailants from the sound of their movements through the air. Then, he immediately took action.
Nathan raised his fist and struck out to the left, colliding with Buro's massive punch head-on. With a thunderous boom, Buro was sent reeling backward. Almost at the same time, he kicked high with his right leg, perfectly colliding with Parkhurst's roundhouse kick in mid-air. There was another thunderous boom, and Parker was swept off his feet, stumbling back several meters. Nathan skillfully countered Buro and Parkhurst's sneak attack with a left punch and a right kick, perfectly neutralizing their assault.
