Salute To The General (Nathan Cross) novel Chapter 3351

Helen looked at Nathan excitedly, her voice trembling with emotion.

“Six wings! His combat form is actually six-winged! It seems that the legendary bloodline isn't the purer, the better. Something truly exceptional can only be created when a pure bloodline encounters a new one, and they merge! Nathan, he truly is the chosen one.”

At that moment, all the vampires present were staring at Nathan with faces full of shock, especially at those prominent six-winged skeletal wings on Nathan's back.

They were truly awe-inspiring.

They had always thought that Herod's four wings were the strongest. Having six wings was nothing more than a legend. Unexpectedly, they actually witnessed the appearance of a vampire with six wings.

The one most shocked was none other than Herod.

He stared at Nathan in his six-winged combat form and involuntarily stepped several back. His voice was filled with disbelief and anger as he spoke. “Impossible. This can't be possible. As the king of vampires, I only have four wings. How could you possibly have six? If anyone in the bloodline should have six wings, it ought to be me.”

The three pairs of skeletal wings on Nathan's back slowly flapped, and he exuded an aura of immense power and dominance.

However, Nathan's expression seemed somewhat melancholic.

He looked at Herod indifferently. “Are you envious? Are you jealous of me? Truth be told, I don't care for this thing at all. I even hate and despise these wings. Apart from granting me a greater ability to kill, this thing is utterly useless. Moreover, it has stripped me of my human identity, filling the future of my loved ones, family, and friends with unknown variables and dangers.”

Herod looked at Nathan with a grimace.

Nathan's combat form was something every vampire dreamed of. Even he, the king of vampires, was incredibly envious.

Ironically, Nathan was so repulsed by the six wings, which infuriated Herod.

Of course, he wouldn't know that Nathan genuinely disliked his vampiric bloodline.

His vampiric bloodline filled his future with danger and uncertainty. Even if no one ever discovered his unique bloodline, he was granted a long life. He might have to watch as his wife and children aged, fell ill, and passed away, leaving him alone to eke out a solitary existence in the world.

Whenever Nathan thought about that, he would inexplicably become agitated.

Indeed, it validated what others said. A long life wasn't necessarily a good thing.

Nathan looked at Herod, whose face was filled with envy and resentment, and said casually, “But now that things have taken such a turn, even if I'm disgusted by the wings, I can't do anything about them. I can only use this destructive power to put an end to the global catastrophe caused by the vampires.”

Herod retorted angrily, “Just you? You're not qualified.”

After saying that, Herod raised his right hand and swung it fiercely.

Swoosh!

Out of thin air, a massive red demon hand materialized and lunged fiercely toward Nathan.
