Eugene IV narrowed his eyes, saying coldly, “He's very strong and will only get more powerful after becoming a vampire. No matter how formidable he is, he's still just a human God of War, not a real God. In a couple of days, it will be God's Festival. God will descend from the heavens to accept our offerings. When the time comes, I'll seize the opportunity to ask God to intervene and annihilate Nathan.”
Upon hearing those words, Baccio and the others showed expressions of joy and exclaimed in unison, “Great idea! If God descends from the universe to Earth, even ten Nathans would be no match for God's power.”
Meanwhile, in Eurasia's Channing, Nathan and his family's vacation had just ended.
Nathan and his family took a private jet, returned to Brimmopolis, and arrived back at the White House.
Nathan continued with his daily work.
That day, Nathan was in the Oval Office, browsing through documents.
All of a sudden, Colin appeared at the door. “Sir, the person in charge of the Ministry of Aeronautics and Space, Jeremiah, requests an audience.”
Upon hearing that, Nathan was a little surprised. “Let him in.”
Soon, a man in his sixties, dressed modestly and wearing thick glasses, who exuded an aura of erudition, entered under the guidance of Colin.
Nathan stood up, extending his hand with a smile. “You're here, Jeremiah.”
Flattered, Jeremiah quickly took two steps forward. He reached out with both hands to grasp Nathan's, uttering excitedly, “Nice to meet you, Mr. Cross.”
Nathan gave a slight nod. “Take a seat. Let's sit down and talk.”
Jeremiah sat on the couch on one side but only dared to perch on the edge, sitting upright and alert.
Nathan also sat back in his office chair, chirping, “Jeremiah, why are you free to pay me a visit instead of focusing on your research at the Ministry of Aeronautics and Space?”
Jeremiah hurriedly said, “Mr. Cross, the reason for my visit this time is to report something to you in person.”
