Only after a long while did Helios admit, “Yes.”
Although Nathan was mentally prepared, he couldn't help but feel surprised. He probed further, “Where in outer space do you come from, and what are your names?”
Helios immediately rattled off a long string of cosmic coordinates, but Nathan was left completely baffled. He didn't understand those cosmic coordinates at all.
However, Helios added, “Our nation is called Divine Realm.”
Divine Realm! Nathan furrowed his brows, continuing to ask, “How many people are there in the Divine Realm?”
Helios raised his head high, declaring proudly, “There are over a hundred thousand Demigods and tens of thousands of Gods! There's also the God King. He's the most powerful being in the universe and the ruler of our Divine Realm.”
Nathan was slightly taken aback. “You only have this few people?”
Helios snorted coldly. “We, the people of Divine Realm, are Gods and Demigods. Any one of us could wreak havoc on your Earth, and our technology far surpasses yours. What's the use of your numbers? To us, you are nothing more than fodder to feed the vampires.”
Indeed, compared to the billions of people on Earth, the number of those aliens seemed pitifully small.
But if every Demigod possessed the same combat power as Helios, and the capabilities of each God surpassed that of Helios, the aliens from Divine Realm were undeniably formidable.
Second-generation vampire! Nathan was astounded. So, it turns out that the vampires on Earth are the result of an infection from an alien clan, evolving into what they are after the infection.
Nathan asked further, “What about the Curia? How are they related to you?”
Helios didn't hold back information and continued to explain, “Ever since we learned that the vampire survivors had fled to Earth, we from Divine Realm sent Demigods to Earth to hunt them down. Only upon arrival did we discover that the first generation of the Blood Clan had been completely wiped out due to their inability to adapt to the local conditions. But the second-generation vampires, evolved from humans infected with the virus, have emerged. What's even more interesting is that the cores of the second-generation vampires are surprisingly superior to the first generation, containing even more abundant energy.”
Nathan knitted his brows. “Wait a minute. Did you say vampire cores? The Curia seems to have been offering a bounty on vampires. Anyone can exchange a vampire core for a corresponding reward at the Curia. Could it be that the Curia has been collecting vampire cores for you all?”
Helios chuckled. “It seems you're not stupid. The Curia is indeed a human force we've been cultivating on Earth. Their mission is to assist in hunting down the vampires and collecting the vampire cores. Every ten years, we from Divine Realm will visit Earth to retrieve the vampire cores.”
