Upon hearing this, Mila immediately said, “That's perfect. It saves us the trouble of having to look for him.”
No sooner had the words been spoken than the lights on the prison building ahead and the surrounding guard towers suddenly blazed on.
Streams of light were now on Gryffen and his party.
The intense light illuminated the scene as bright as day, revealing Gryffen and his party in full view.
Large groups of soldiers, armed to the teeth, appeared. Their sub-machine guns, with their dark, ominous barrels, were aimed directly at Gryffen and his crew.
A captain with a square-shaped face appeared, his expression stern.
He stared at Gryffen, who was shrouded in a cloak, and the group of monsters with octopus heads behind him, before saying coldly, “What kind of evildoers dare to show up in this area and even dare to appear before Sky Prison?”
Gryffen stood with his hands behind his back, silent.
Stepping forward, Mila, at his side, looked arrogantly at the Eurasian soldiers before her. In a haughty tone, she declared, “You lowly creatures dare to imprison us Gods? Release our comrade immediately and bring Nathan out to face his punishment. If you do so, perhaps Lord Gryffen might spare your corpses.”
Upon hearing these words, the captain flew into a rage.
“How audacious! How dare you lowly creatures speak the Chief Military Governor's name so casually! This is your final chance to surrender. Raise your hands, or face the consequences.”
Gryffen still had his hands behind his back, silent, acting as if nothing was amiss.
Mila let out a cold laugh. “Heh, you think beings as lowly as you are worthy of our tribe's surrender? And what can you do if we refuse to surrender?”
The captain frowned, gesturing with a commanding wave. He ordered his most elite subordinates, “Go, capture that woman and the one in the cloak.”
“Yes!”
Immediately, several tall and agile soldiers headed toward Gryffen and Mila.
Seeing the situation, Mila smirked and pulled out something resembling a flashlight. Following that, it seemed as if she activated the device. With a sizzling sound, the flashlight transformed into a lightsword.
With a cold smirk on her face, she skillfully twirled her lightsword, creating a couple of sword flares. Then, she walked toward the soldiers.
Several soldiers felt Mila's provocation and also realized that the woman before them was no ordinary creature.
They exchanged a glance, then, without any hesitation, they moved toward Mila, ready to capture this female creature first before anything else.
Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh!
