Salute To The General (Nathan Cross) novel Chapter 362

Park Yijoon and his father, Park Sungjun, reached the Channing International Airport in the afternoon. The city officials of Channing welcomed them enthusiastically, and Zed was one of the men welcoming them.

When Park Yijoon saw Zed, it was like he had seen his savior. He rushed towards Zed and yelled loudly, "Captain Walker, you've arrived just in time. The mayor ordered you to protect us, didn't he? This scumbag and wench were impolite to me. They even injured my friends and bodyguards. Lock them up and punish them severely."

Zed's forehead was covered with cold sweat as he thought of ways to pacify both. None of them was one he could afford to infuriate. Finally, he smiled appeasingly and said, "Mr. Park, calm down. Let's talk things out."

Nathan narrowed his eyes. Looking at Zed with an unreadable expression, he asked calmly, "Captain Walker, is he your friend?"

His question stumped Zed.

Of course, he was not friends with Park Yijoon. However, he could not deny it in front of Park Yijoon.

After all, Park Yijoon was a VIP from overseas who had diplomatic immunity. The mayor ordered Zed to take good care of him personally.

In the end, Zed had no choice but to steel himself and say softly to Nathan, "Mr. Cross, he is Park Yijoon, the general manager of Gemini Group. He is the son of the CEO of South Korea's renowned Gemini Group. He has diplomatic immunity. Besides, He's an important guest and foreign friend of Channing."

Nathan replied coldly, "Foreign friend? If he wants to be friends with us, he must respect us before we respect him! This man was trying to take advantage of my sister-in-law and causing trouble. As the captain of the Investigation Unit, shouldn't you take responsibility for this?"

Zed stuttered while looking uneasy, "Mr. Cross... Mr. Park has... has diplomatic immunity. According to the rules, I cannot lock him up..."

Park Yijoon also shouted at Zed unhappily, "Captain Walker, who is he? Where does this fool come from? Doesn't he know that

I have diplomatic immunity?"

Before Zed could explain, Park Yijoon walked forward arrogantly. He was acting proudly because Zed and the other policemen were present, and also because he had diplomatic immunity.

As he raised his hand to pat Nathan's face frivolously, Park Yijoon said with a smile, "Who are you to lock me up? I'll get Captain Walker to lock you up instead."

When Zed saw this, his expression changed drastically and he knew that things were going to turn ugly.
