Salute To The General (Nathan Cross) novel Chapter 3762

Speaking of Max, Nathan's eyes flashed with a glint, but it quickly returned to normal. He said lightly, “Don't worry, since I chose Max, I'm well aware of his character. Everything is under my control.”

Hepburn thought that Nathan was talking about trusting his subordinates unconditionally. She wanted to say more, such as she noticed that Max and his subordinates recently enjoyed slaughtering Gods, consuming their fresh blood to become stronger, but in the end, she refrained from saying anything further.

After all, Nathan had said that he was placing unconditional trust in his people. Moreover, she felt that there weren't many people under Nathan's command who could hold their own and not many who could share Nathan's worries.

Don't be too picky with Max. He's such a capable assistant.

At this very moment, Max was in the mansion, hosting a blood feast with his group of trusted confidants.

The blood used for the blood feast all came from the blue blood of the Gods.

These blue bloods were obtained by looting and executing those traitorous Gods.

Right then, a group of subordinates were happily enjoying the blue blood, while complimenting Max on the side.

“Mr. Max, God King seems to trust you more and more. Your future is boundless!”

“Absolutely, following Mr. Max promises a bright future. Not to mention anything else, Gods' blood alone is endlessly beneficial!”

“Yeah, I've been feeling a lot stronger recently, after drinking so much blue blood. I think I've leveled up quite a few notches!”

Max gently swirled his elegant wine glass, a playful smirk on his face. “All you need to do is follow me, stay loyal to me, and I guarantee you a future filled with good times,” he said.

The subordinate said, “Yes, I saw it with my own eyes. Mr. Max, you are the strongest under Queen Hepburn's command, her right-hand man, and currently held in high regard by the God King. I think you and Queen Hepburn make quite a match. Why don't you pursue her? If you end up with her, then within the vampires, you two will call the shots. We can slaughter the Gods and drink their fresh blood to become stronger, without having to sneak around and tread lightly anymore!”

Upon hearing this, the rest of the subordinates chimed in, encouraging Max to pursue Hepburn.

Max's eyes sparkled brighter, his face full of anticipation. If he could truly win Hepburn's heart, his status among the vampires would rise.

Essentially, he would be able to command the vampires.

In the Divine Realm, he would be an incredible powerhouse.

He verbally dismissed the idea as impossible, claiming that Hepburn would never be interested in him. Yet, deep down, he was seriously considering pursuing Hepburn.
