Nathan hadn't seen his wife for a long time and was about to share a few tender words with her when a discordant voice echoed in his ears.
"Nathan, you're finally back! We've all been waiting for you for quite some time. Now that you're back, we can sit down and discuss how to resolve the matters of the Divine Realm!"
Nathan furrowed his brow and turned around.
Then he discovered that the speaker was a tall, blond man standing next to Wolfric. This middle-aged man was glaring at him with a very unfriendly look in his eyes.
Nathan looked around at the crowd, then raised his hand to point at the blond man, asking, "Who is this?"
Before anyone else could speak, Wolfric introduced with a beaming smile, "Oh, this is my vice admiral, Vincent. This is your first time meeting him, so it's normal if you don't recognize him, Mr. Cross."
Nathan nodded, indicating that he didn't know who Vincent was.
He smiled at Wolfric and the others, saying, "I know that upon my return, many of you have questions and opinions you'd like to discuss with me in person. Moreover, this was also one of the main reasons for my return this time. I will sit down and talk with all of you, but before that, I need to reunite with my family first. Returning home and reuniting with my family was also one of my primary objectives. Do you understand what I'm saying?"
The expressions on Wolfric and the others were somewhat strange.
"Of course, you have just returned from the Divine Realm, having narrowly escaped death. It's only natural that you would want to reunite with your family first. We completely understand!" Wolfric replied with a chuckle.
Nathan gave a slight nod, then added, "Let's meet at the Earth Alliance Headquarters tomorrow to continue our discussion! Goodbye!"
After saying that, Nathan picked up his son, held his wife's hand, and with his daughter and family in tow, prepared to leave under the escort of the Eurasia's troops.
However, Nathan had only taken two steps when he paused in his tracks, turned around to address Wolfric and the others, "Oh, there's something I forgot to remind all of you about. When meeting with me tomorrow to discuss the issues, those who attend should be able to contribute to the conversation and have decision-making authority. I don't wish to waste my words on some underlings!"
Upon hearing those words, Vince, who was standing next to Wolfric, instantly flushed red with anger, his expression particularly livid.
Everyone also realized that Nathan's words were directed at Vincent.
