Smythe, covered in blood, was lifted onto the spaceship. He then made a frantic and disheveled escape from Earth.
The video footage abruptly stopped.
A silence fell over the Earth Alliance Headquarters meeting.
At the conference venue, a hush ensued.
The War Gods from various nations looked first at Wolfric, then at Nathan, with no one daring to speak.
In contrast to Nathan's composed demeanor, Wolfric's face turned sour.
Glaring at Nathan, Wolfric exclaimed, "Nathan, what is the meaning of this? Your subordinates have quite the audacity, huh? How dare they refuse to hand over control of the Divine Realm?"
Nathan replied nonchalantly, "I've told you before, I personally agree to surrender the Divine Realm. The concern lies in the reluctance of the various clans in the Divine Realm. Moreover, you sent people to take control of the Divine Realm under the name of the Earth Alliance without informing me. Now that it has gone awry, how can you blame me?"
Wolfric's face turned pale with anger. "You—"
Nathan calmly continued, "When we first set out to conquer the Divine Realm, no one agreed or supported us. You ostracized the vampires. In the end, I had no choice but to lead the ostracized vampire clan to conquer the Divine Realm. Back then, I told them that once they had conquered that place, they could settle down there."
Pausing, Nathan surveyed the crowd and continued, "The expedition was successful, and they established themselves in the Divine Realm. Various races from across the universe joined them, including some of our own humans. They defeated the Gods, averting the crisis on Earth. Whether you appreciate them or not doesn't matter to them, but you must not have any intentions of taking over their new home!"
As Nathan spoke, the expressions of many present changed.
Nathan's stance was clear—no one was allowed to have designs on the Divine Realm.
Nathan's gaze sharpened, and his voice grew louder. "When they set out for the Divine Realm, it was for a home. Now, if anyone still opposes them having a homeland and wishes to harm their new home, they will continue fighting until there are no more enemies! Decide whether you want to be friends or foes; the choice is yours!"
