Nathan departed from the Earth Alliance Headquarters, leaving Wolfric and the others in a state of confusion.
Wolfric glared at Nathan's retreating figure, filled with hatred. "I never liked this guy before. But ever since he declared himself the ruler of the Divine Realm, he's become even more arrogant!"
Eiken, Tyrell, Leopold, and the rest of Wolfric's allies nodded in agreement.
On the other hand, individuals like Leopold remained silent.
The situation had reached a point where finding a resolution was challenging.
On Earth's side, the options were either to go to war with the Divine Realm or, as Nathan suggested, peacefully coexist for mutual benefit.
Wolfric and his group lacked the courage and capability to wage war against the Divine Realm, yet they still desired a share of the benefits from Nathan.
Just as they were in a state of indecision, the air-raid siren at the Earth Alliance Headquarters blared frantically.
Wolfric, Leopold, Zach, and the others' expressions changed dramatically.
A duty-bound warmonger hurried in to report, "Bad news! Multiple alien spaceships have been detected rapidly approaching Earth, and they haven't identified themselves! I'm afraid the incoming force might be hostile. The red alert has been activated."
What? Several spaceships are nearing Earth? Are they friend or foe?
Wolfric's face contorted in anger. "Could these be the Divine Realm's ships? After falling out with us, did Nathan deliberately send spaceships to intimidate us?"
This statement shocked everyone in the room.
All eyes instinctively turned to Zach.
Zach also felt that this matter was not to be taken lightly. He immediately took out his phone and called Nathan in front of everyone present to inquire about the situation.
Soon, the call connected.
Upon learning about several unidentified spaceships approaching Earth, Nathan expressed surprise. He truthfully replied, "These spaceships are not from our Divine Realm, nor did I send them. Also, I have resigned from the position of commander-in-chief of the Earth Alliance. You should deal with the alien spaceships yourselves. Be careful!"
Having said that, Nathan hung up.
Zach looked at Wolfric and Leopold and said, "Mr. Cross has made it clear. The several unidentified spaceships approaching Earth are not related to him. He told us to handle it as we see fit."
Wolfric sneered, "Since it has nothing to do with him, we don't need to be polite. Immediately instruct them to identify themselves as they enter Earth's airspace. Otherwise, we'll open fire."
