With a smug expression, Terrence said, "The vice-president of CDER in Channing is my cousin. I'll get him to mess with Cross Group's vaccines once they have been delivered to CDER!"
When Zucker heard Terrence's words, he laughed and asserted, "That's a great idea! I'm sure there's nothing Penny can do about it, even if she tries to reach out to Channing's mayor or Alberesque's governor. After all, they have to take Mr. Turner into consideration as well."
In an attempt to obstruct Cross Group's vaccine production, Zucker and Terrence were determined to employ their connection with the authority in CDER. They wouldn't be able to penetrate the market and launch their product should they fail to receive permission from the FDA.
In the meantime, in the mansion of the Smith family.
In an enthusiastic manner, Sean led the Smith family, including Samuel and Paul, to welcome Henry from Alberesque.
The Smith family's lineage originated from Alberesque.
Meanwhile, the ones in Channing were merely collateral descendants.
In terms of capability, the Smith family from Channing were no match forthose from Alberesque.
Hence, Sean regarded those from the Smith family of Alberesque as the noble ones.
Henry Smith had personally made his way over to Channing to visit Sean and his family.
Sean and the rest were taken aback by Henry's presence. They greeted him and his men courteously as though they were superior to them.
Although Henry was only forty-five years old, he and Sean were equals in terms of seniority.
Nonetheless, Sean dared not fraternize with Henry due to his superiority, so he addressed Henry as Mr. Smith.
He asked in a flattering manner, "Mr. Smith, may I know what brings you to Channing?"
As soon as Henry finished his sentence, he instructed his men, "Head over to Cross Group and summon Penny here. It's time
for her to atone for her sin."
Two men stepped forward upon receiving the instruction.
They were part of the Smith family of Alberesque; Jacob and Marco.
Before long, Jacob and Marco arrived at Cross Group. The receptionist came forward and greeted them politely, "Good day, I'm Hermine from Cross Group. How may I help you?"
In a condescending tone, Marco replied, "We're from the Smith family of Alberesque."
Jacob chimed in with a similar attitude, "Get us your president immediately!”
