Salute To The General (Nathan Cross) novel Chapter 444

Nathan laughed and remained silent.

He turned to talk to Penny, "Honey, now that this restaurant will be closing down soon. Let's dine at another restaurant, shall we?"

Alice and Helen thought that Nathan and his family were trying to run away. Therefore, they asked their waiters and security guards to block their way so they couldn't escape.

As for Helen, she wanted to teach Nathan a lesson.

Meanwhile, Alice was shouting like a madwoman at them, "Didn't you say that this restaurant will close down in ten minutes? It's not even time yet, so why are you running away in such a hurry?"

Helen and Alice were deliberately blocking their way so they could buy time and get more of their people to come over to the restaurant. That way, they could ask their people to teach him a lesson.

Just then, countless police cars arrived at the entrance of the restaurant. Other than that, there were also cars from the taxation department and electric power company.

The officers from respective departments got out of their cars.

The person who was leading the operation was the Chief of East Bay Police Headquarters, Daniel Wray.

Daniel led a bunch of police officers, taxation officers, and utility officers to storm into the restaurant aggressively.

Helen and Alice were shocked. Just then, Daniel announced loudly, "We're the joint enforcement team. The South restaurant has a major fire safety hazard, and it is suspected of tax evasion and electricity theft."

"Now we are sealing up the hotel in accordance with the law, and everyone is required to leave immediately.”

Everyone was shocked!

Helen couldn't believe her eyes, "How's that possible? The owner of this restaurant is General Hill's nephew!"

Alice's face turned ashen as she knelt on the floor. She cried, "I'm screwed! My boss's restaurant has been shut down because of me. My boss will definitely skin me alive!"

Everyone else looked at Nathan in disbelief, including Penny and her family.

Who the hell is this man? The South restaurant is so powerful, and how did he manage to shut down the restaurant in just a few minutes?
