What?
Penny went pale. She grabbed the phone and saw an ongoing video call.
Children were pouring out of the kindergarten since it was dismissal time.
At that moment, her daughter Queenie had just exited the kindergarten.
She was holding Leah's hand, walking toward a BMW in a distance. Benson was in the driver's seat.
Freddie grinned. "Tom, start the car and prepare to run over that little girl."
Vroom!
The car's engine roared and Tom, who was on the other end of the call, was prepared to drive toward Leah and Queenie.
Penny screeched, "No!"
"If you don't wish to see your daughter get hurt, sign this contract now. Otherwise, you will watch her die."
He looked at Penny, who was in despair. He narrowed his eyes. "Don't worry. When we take over Cross Group, you will definitely keep your position as chairman. However, the only other condition is for you to be my woman. If I want you to kneel, you will not stand. If I want you to lie down, you will not sit."
Tears formed in Penny's eyes. "You are shameless!"
Freddie grinned. "My shameless self has yet to be unleashed. I am especially so in relationships and you will witness it soon. Nonetheless, you should sign the contract first or Tom will kill your daughter."
"Don't do it, you jerk!"
Freddie chuckled, "I will count to three. One, two..."
Penny was about to break down. She was prepared to disregard the consequences and sign the contract to save her mother's and daughter's life.
