Tim was trembling in fear as sweat streamed down his forehead. He couldn't bring himself to reply Nathan because his mind was all over the place.
"Are you deaf? Reply me!" Nathan raised his hand and slapped Tim in the face as he yelled.
"Ms. Cross, Ms. Smith, sir, I beg you to forgive me! I know I'm the one at fault for offending all of you, but please give me another chance!” Tim got down on his knees to beg for mercy without a second thought.
"Oh? It seems like you have finally learned your lesson, huh? Where's the arrogant man I saw earlier?" Nathan asked sarcastically.
As soon as he finished his sentence, he ordered the colonel of the armed forces, "Take them into custody! Under no circumstances are they allowed on bail! I can't wait to see what the Brown Family is capable of." 'Yes, sir!" The colonel replied solemnly.
In the study room of Dragon Palace, the Brown Family's mansion, at Horton in the East.
Tyson was infuriated and shocked at the same time. He asked Guilford and his men who were in front of him, "My son has been taken into custody by those from the armed forces?"
Guilford told Tyson the truth, "Tim had gotten himself into a conflict with Nathan at Roxy Hotel. Hence, he got his bunch of friends over to support him. However, the commanders-in-chief of the East's military were dining at Roxy Hotel as well. As a result, a bunch of soldiers showed up and took him into custody because he accidentally offended them."
It turned out that Nathan had instructed Liam to keep the incident confidential once he had Tim taken into custody.
Therefore, those from the Brown Family didn't get the full account of the incident.
All they knew was Tim had gotten himself involved in a conflict with Nathan. He reached out to his friends for help but accidentally offended the commanders-in-chief that were present in the hotel. Thus, he had been taken into custody.
Up until then, those from the Brown Family thought Tim must have had been unlucky to run into the commanders-in-chief of the military.
They had no idea the said commanders-in-chief were Nathan's aides.
"Are you kidding me? That's absurd!" Tyson yelled furiously.
Guilford and Tyson's men exchanged glances because they couldn't figure out if Tyson were referring to Tim or the military to be absurd.
Tyson fell silent for a few seconds. Finally, he instructed Guilford, "Get in touch with those from the military on my behalf. Try your best to make a request for them to release Tim."
"Sir, I have already gotten in touch with them just now," Guilford replied.
"Then? What did they say?" Tyson frowned as he asked.
