Chapter 216
The sound of the bell was beautiful.
Caroline clutched the bell bracelet in her hand, unsure if it belonged to her.
The pattern on the red rope was a little crooked as if it had been woven by someone who wasn’t particularly skilled at handicrafts. Caroline then noticed two small
acters on the little bell, “My Love.”
The bracelet was created out of love for the child.
Caroline’s heart felt as if it had been pricked, and a moist sheen appeared in her clear eyes. She wondered if her mother had made the bracelet for her.
Perhaps her mother carved the two tiny characters that read “My Love” and wove the red ropes herself.
It turned out that she had been loved and had a family in the past.
“Carol, let us use this token to track down your family. I believe your parents adore you and are eagerly awaiting your return,” Marina said softly.
Caroline’s previously lost and lonely soul seemed to be instantly healed by the two words, “My Love,” and she nodded her head, tears streaming down her cheeks. “Yes!”
She was about to embark on her next adventure, and she was no longer alone. At that moment, she was accompanied by her baby.
Everything was getting better.
A melodious phone ringtone rang at that precise moment. It was a call coming from the hospital.
“Hello, Ms. Sullivan. Mrs. Salvatore has awoken.”
“Grandma woke up!” Caroline remarked inwardly.
Caroline rushed to the hospital and saw several doctors and nurses attempting to stop Samantha Salvatore. “Mrs. Salvatore, you just woke up, and you shouldn’t get out of bed just yet.”
“Get out of my way, all of you! Don’t even try to stop me!“. Samantha spoke in a commanding and energizing tone. She waved her hand and pushed the doctors and nurses out of the way.
“Ouch!” exclaimed everyone in the room in agony.

Chapter 216
Caroline’s head throbbed as she reflected, “Grandma had finally recovered and turned back into the strong and capable old lady she once was.”
Standing by the door, Caroline shouted, “Grandma.”
Hearing that, Samantha’s eyes lit up, and she quickly ran over, opened her arms, and gave Caroline a big hug. “Sweet Carol, did anyone bully you while I was away? If you are bullied, just tell me, and I will destroy their entire family.”
Caroline reached out and hugged her grandmother while acting cute. “No one bullied me. Grandma, I’ve missed you for so long because you’ve been unconscious.”
“I’ve missed you as well, Sweet Carol. Have you finished your search for your family? Let’s head back to Doveston now.”
Caroline leaned on her grandmother’s shoulder. “Okay.”
