Serenity and Zachary York novel Chapter 1718

Chapter 1718

“Your sister...” Mrs. Stone felt that Liberty was always having a rough time in relationships.

She bit her tongue mid-sentence.

“Mr. Lewis still doesn’t want to meet Liberty?” Mrs. Stone asked concernedly.

“He didn’t want to meet Zachary and I when we went to visit him.

Zachary texted him, but Duncan didn’t reply or answer any calls.

He led himself down a blind alley, always assuming that we're just taking pity on him.” Mrs. Stone let out a sigh.

Elisa and Remy came in while holding hands.

After Mrs. Stone took a glimpse of him, Remy let go of Elisa’s hand.

His future mother-in-law had yet to accept him.

Therefore, he did not want to be intimate with Elisa in front of Mrs. Stone.

After Elisa asked Remy to take a seat, she walked away with the bouquet of flowers and put it in a big vase.

She also brought the jewelry that Remy gave her into her room.

When she headed downstairs, everyone was chatting merrily.

It was mainly because of Sonny’s presence.

Mrs. Stone was afraid of leading Sonny astray, so she did not make any strong criticisms about Remy.

Serenity and Sonny stayed at the Stones’ house for half a day.

After dinner, Serenity left with Sonny.

Zachary had a social function to attend at night.

He sent a message to Serenity, telling her that he would probably get home at midnight.

He asked her to go to bed first, rather than wait for him.

Serenity took Sonny to play at the park and shop around.

Around nine o’clock in the evening, they returned to the hilltop villa.

As Sonny was still a kid, he was worn out after playing the whole evening.

After taking a shower, he went to bed on his own.

After Sonny was asleep, Serenity went to the study to do her things.

Although Zachary told Serenity not to wait for him, she could not help but wait for his return.

Before he arrived home, she would miss him and worry about him all the time.

At that moment, Zachary was still in Wiltspoon Hotel.
