Serenity and Zachary York novel Chapter 1736

Chapter 1736

It must be Jenna! Zachary did not look too pleased.

While Jenna did not come along, she would not quit.

Jenna had flowers and clothes delivered to his residence.

Mr.Daniels had invited Zachary for a meal today and talked about collaboration, so Jenna would have known.

She deliberately timed the delivery for when he was out.

It was so Serenity would get the wrong idea and kick up a fuss with him.

That woman was vile.

1 "I had a good talk with Mr.Daniels and sealed the deal on the partnership, but now that I think about it, I want to give up on the project, Seren."

Jenna was the only daughter of Mr.Daniels.

It was said that Mr.Daniels took a while to regulate his health so that he could have a child.

Mr.Daniels and his wife simply adored their only daughter.

Although Mr.Daniels was sensible enough not to bring Jenna along today, nor was he supporting Jenna’s courtship of Zachary, Zachary did not want to take the risk.

Even the most sensible parents, who doted on their children, would eventually give in to their children.

They would take their children’s side.

Zachary was only giving Jenna a free pass in and out of York Corporation if he were to have a joint venture with Daniels Group.

"It’s a big business, babe.

Since it’s a done deal, the collaboration is nothing to be scared of.

It takes two to tango.

So long as you aren’t interested in her, whatever she does won’t mean anything."

Serenity had the utmost trust in Zachary.

Of course, it did not sit well with Serenity that a woman had her eyes on her man.

Still, Serenity did not want personal feelings to come between the partnership of two major corporations.

Business and personal affairs were separate.

"Babe, you can add a few terms that any involvement of personal affairs will call for a termination of the partnership, and Daniels Group is to compensate for the damages if you’re concerned that Mr.Daniels would lend his daughter a hand.

"I trust you completely, babe.

The woman can try, but she can’t steal my husband away.

You can go ahead with the project and make money off it.

It’s not like it’s a collaboration for the long run."
