Serenity and Zachary York novel Chapter 1740

Chapter 1740

Cutting Zachary off, Mr. Daniels solemnly uttered, “We have agreed on the project, and I’m happy to work with your company.

Iam aman of my word.

I won’t change my mind about the partnership, and I hope you will do the same.

“T take what Jenna has done seriously, and I will deal with her when I get back.

I promise Jenna will not show herself in your presence during our ongoing partnership.

I will keep an eye on her and try to stop her from disturbing and harassing you, Mr. York.”

Mr. Daniels could not guarantee that he could stop his daughter, but he would discourage her whenever possible.

He had raised his daughter with love and care.

Mr. Daniels and his wife were proud of their outstanding daughter.

He did not want her daughter to blow the rest of her life because of her feelings for a married man.

Zachary sullenly said, “I trust you, Mr. Daniels.

I will leave someone else to follow up on the project.

I hope you mean what you said and stop Ms.

Daniels from harassing me.

Ms.

Daniels is one fine lady.

She will find a better man.” She should not dwell on a married man.

There would only be one collaboration with Daniels Group, and nothing more.

Serenity talked some sense into Zachary to reluctantly keep their partnership going.

Nevertheless, Zachary would not be heading the project.

He planned to leave someone else in charge to minimize contact with Mr. Daniels.

“I will. I will,” Mr. Daniels uttered repeatedly.

Mr. Daniels did not feel comfortable staying after all that happened.

He apologetically said to Zachary, “I’m sorry for the trouble, Mr. York.” Mr. Daniels then turned to Serenity.

“I apologize about what happened, Mrs. York.

My daughter has only met Mr. York once.

Mr. York has never given my daughter any attention.

All he did was a handshake out of courtesy.
