Serenity and Zachary York novel Chapter 1752

Chapter 1752

“Having said that, Mr. Callum trusts you, or he wouldn’t have allowed us to leave together in your car.” Dalton choked.

The person calling Camryn was not Callum but Aunt Evelyn, who was her father’s youngest sister.

Aunt Evelyn had gotten married and moved to a faraway place.

She hardly returned to Wiltspoon.

“Aunt Evelyn.” The moment Camryn heard Aunt Evelyn’s voice, her expression totally changed.

From Camryn’s expression, Dalton could see her reliance on her aunt.

Camryn had aclose relationship with Aunt Evelyn; it was because of her that Camryn’s life was saved.

In the last decade, Aunt Evelyn had gone around to look for well- known doctors to help treat Camryn’s eyes.

She had also brought Camryn along to ask for medication and prayed for her.

“Camryn, where are you now? I went to your flower shop, and your assistant said you were out.

When I went home, I didn’t see you either.” Aunt Evelyn had turned against Mr. and Mrs. Newman because of the death of Camryn’s father and Camryn’s near-death experience.

When she returned to Wiltspoon, she would not step into the Newmans’ house but stay in a hotel.

She did return to her home, but she only asked about Camryn’s whereabouts at the gate.

She left after learning that Camryn was not at home.

Then, she called Camryn.

Camryn asked in surprise, “Aunt Evelyn, you're here? When did you come over? You should’ve called me in advance so that I can pick you up at the airport.” “T know the way.

You don’t need to pick me up.

I’ve just arrived, and I’m now heading to the hotel.

Tell me where you are now, and I'll meet you later.” Aunt Evelyn asked Camryn, “Are you in York Corporation?” After learning that Callum was interested in Camryn, Aunt Evelyn disagreed with them getting together as Camryn did.

The York elders were open-minded.

Callum’s mother had even said that Camryn did not have to do anything except spend money.

Even so, she was against Camryn getting together with Callum.

Given that Camryn suffered many mishaps in her life, she did not want Camryn to take the risk.
