Serenity and Zachary York novel Chapter 1773

Chapter 1773

Liberty listened as George tore into Jessica while thinking to herself, ‘Surely, the Browns pushed Jessica too far until a weak girl like her went stabbing.’ People tended to act recklessly when cornered and pressured.

Murder often happened when people were pushed over the edge.

Liberty was not surprised that Jessica would stab Chelsea since Chelsea loved to stir the pot.

Chelsea often poked her nose in Hank’s business, so it was no wonder Hank’s wife resented her.

Before Liberty and Hank got a divorce, Liberty hated Chelsea’s guts.

It was a good thing that Chelsea did not always stick around the Browns’ family home back then.

The breathing space kept Liberty from losing her mind and committing murder.

Chelsea resented Jessica for aiding and abetting outsiders to kidnap Lucas, so she went after Jessica at every turn.

Chelsea would create a rift between Hank and Jessica and pit her parents against Jessica every time she stayed at the Browns’ residence.

The Browns’ household was riddled with unrest.

Even the most docile person had a temper.

Unable to take Chelsea’s behavior anymore, Jessica channeled her anger into the stabbing.

Liberty believed families would welcome their married daughters with open arms when the daughters came home for a visit.

However, it was a different story when these daughters interfered in their brother’s marriage or caused a disagreement between their parents and sisters-in-law.

These daughters would end up like Chelsea.

Liberty was baffled by the reason behind Jessica’s potentially lethal stabbing.

Hank had always been good to Jessica, be it before or after they tied the knot.

Hank took Jessica’s side even though his parents and sister were not in favor of Jessica.

They badmouthed Jessica and insisted Hank leave Jessica, but the man would not budge.

He even tried to mediate between the two sides, but his parents and sister were stubborn.

Hank could not get through to them.

Jessica lost her unborn child not too long ago, and it was her first baby too.

She must be devastated for sure.
