Serenity and Zachary York novel Chapter 1804

Chapter 1804

"I heard from my grandma that my great-grandfather was a womanizer.People in that era had multiple mistresses.Although my great- grandmother was his first wife, she suffered a lot and made sacrifices to keep her marriage and protect her children’s interests.

"My grandpa and his siblings also saw how much my great- grandmother suffered and felt sorry for her. Therefore, after my great -grandfather passed away and my great- grandmother took charge of the household, she established that family rule.

My grandparents abided by that rule and were all loyal to their marriage.

"My brothers and I will do the same.If we get married in the future, we will be absolutely loyal to our partners.Marriage is a once -in-a-lifetime event, so we must be cautious. We can’t be impulsive and should think twice about it."

Kevin admired the courtyard scenery in Queen Manor while they walked.

Although it was not as nice as his family’s Wildridge Manor, it was still beautiful and vast.

Kevin still preferred Wildridge Manor probably because he was used to it.

"Other than having good family values, what else do you require of your other half, Mr.Queen? I can help you scout around for any girls who meet your requirements and introduce them to you.I want to see if I can get a matchmaker’s commission from you."

Hayden was amused by Kevin. She laughed and said, "Mr.York, you should solve your problem first. You’re already forced to seek refuge in Jensburg because your elders are urging you to get married.

"Mr.York, you're not yet thirty years old, right?"

"Ii’m twenty-nine this year.I think I’m a year older than you.I think it’s not too late for us men with successful careers to get married at thirty-five.

"But the elders in my family are urging me desperately. In the past, Zachary was the one taking the brunt. If my mother urged me to find a girlfriend, I could still shift the focus to him.Now that he’s married and Callum has a fiancée, my mother grew so anxious, as if I’m a slow-moving product that can’t be sold!"
