Serenity and Zachary York novel Chapter 1865

Hayden raised her head and glared at her brother. Her smile disappeared, and she reached out her hand toward him. “Give it to me.”

Hugh quickly passed the document to his sister.

“Sis.”

Hugh called her.

Hayden glared at him again. He stuck his tongue out and changed his way of addressing her. “Bro.”

Hugh could not call Hayden his sister in the company.

Hayden had been dressing as a man for more than twenty years. Even if her secret were to be exposed in the future, Hugh could not be the one to reveal it. Otherwise, his sister would beat him up.

They learned self-defense together. He was not as good at it as his sister was and could never reach her level.

Hayden was only born ten minutes earlier than Hugh, but he felt like she had been delivered ten years earlier.

“Kevin didn’t lie to you. He was urged to marry by his family. They had been so desperate that he used a business trip as an excuse to escape to Jensburg.”

Hugh sounded gleeful.

Hayden took out the information her brother had compiled from the envelope. After looking through it thoroughly, she tore the pages up.

“Why did you tear them up? It took me quite some time to find the information and print it out. I contributed so much.”

Hugh wanted to stop Hayden, but he was too late.

He felt like the fruits of his labor were wasted by his sister.
