Serenity and Zachary York novel Chapter 1868

If Caroline were to take over the Fisher family, her husband would have to marry into the family. Hugh did not want to be a live-in son-in-law.

Hayden was speechless.

She had neglected that point.

The husbands of the Fisher household’s leaders had always married into the family instead of the bride joining the groom’s family.

Meanwhile, at the Danielses’ residence, Alvin was sitting on the sofa in the luxurious living room, reading a newspaper with his legs crossed.

At that moment, a man clothed in black walked over.

He went to Alvin’s side and whispered, “Mr. Alvin, we’ve found out Ms. Jenna’s true reason for secretly going to Wiltspoon.”

Alvin continued reading the newspaper. He said indifferently, “What’s the reason?”

The man lowered his voice further. He said softly, “Ms. Jenna fell in love with Mr. Zachary York at first sight. She’s trying to break the couple up and replace his wife. On the night you went to Wiltspoon to bring her back, she had gone to Mr. York’s house and met Mrs. York. She seemed to be provoking Mrs. York.”

Alvin folded the newspaper. He raised his head to look at the man in disbelief.

After some time, he asked in a low voice, “Is that true?”

“It’s absolutely true, Mr. Alvin. It’s easy to find out anything related to Mrs. York. She’s famous in Wiltspoon.”
