Hayden’s expression turned gloomy.

She looked at Kevin and said coldly, “Mr. York, what is the meaning of this?”

The present he prepared for her was a bouquet of roses?

It was not that she did not like roses, but what were they for?

If she was sick and hospitalized, it would be appropriate if Kevin sent her flowers, but she was fine and healthy.

If Kevin gave her flowers all of a sudden, it would make others think that he was confessing his love for her.

What the hell?

She was still a man! Why would Kevin confess to her?

Kevin should not be gay either! Why?

“It doesn’t mean anything. I passed by the florist earlier and saw these beautiful roses. I got them but I don’t know who to give them to. Since I know you best in this city, I thought I’d give you the roses.”

If Hayden’s gaze could kill, Kevin would no longer have an intact body, but he was not afraid. He acted like a gentleman and explained with a bright smile.

However, no one believed his explanation.

Hayden did not believe it either, but she accepted the excuse. Unfortunately, she refused to accept the flowers.

“Thank you Mr. York for your kindness but I don’t like flowers. If you don’t have anyone to give them to, find someone you like in the office and give them to her.”

Hayden wanted to walk past Kevin.
