Serenity and Zachary York novel Chapter 1984

The elders in Queen Enterprise were also of the same generation as Mr. Donald. In a way, they watched Hayden grow up and knew his character and abilities very well.

Putting aside Hayden’s identity, they admired a young man like him and hoped that their daughters could make him their son-in-law.

Kevin was someone who appeared unexpectedly and disrupted the situation. Given that he was a man and the third son of the Yorks, anyone who wanted to do something to him would have to consider the Yorks and the Buchams who had his back.

Now, even the Stones, who never used to deal with the Yorks, would help the Yorks.

Therefore, no one dared lay a hand on Kevin.

They could only scold him behind his back for being shameless.

It was not a problem that he was gay, but he infuriated everyone else by trying to make Hayden, who was deemed the most ideal son-in-law candidate by many elders, gay as well.

After throwing away the breakfast Kevin brought, Hayden returned to her seat and sat down. She continued the meeting as though nothing happened.

On the other hand, Kevin was enjoying his breakfast while waiting.

Hayden’s meeting would take at least an hour. If Kevin were to wait for an hour, his breakfast could turn into lunch.

Besides, Kevin left home early and felt hungry too.

After having breakfast, Kevin sat on the sofa and took out his phone. He leisurely watched some videos and played a few rounds of games.

An hour later, Hayden’s secretary came knocking on the door and said, “Mr. Kevin, Mr. Hayden is back in his office. He asked you to go over.”

Kevin stopped playing with his phone and put it back into his pocket. He said, “I was so engrossed in playing that I didn’t notice that his meeting ended.

“I’ll go see him now.”

Kevin picked up the bouquet and a few bags. While heading out, he asked the secretary, “Did Hayden eat the breakfast I brought?”

The secretary answered, “Mr. Kevin, you’ll know when you ask Mr. Hayden later.”
