Serenity and Zachary York novel Chapter 1987

“Mr. Hayden, since you don’t have vases in your office, I’ll send you a few in the afternoon. You can display the flowers I give you in them. Your office will look more beautiful as well,” Kevin said.

Hayden did not want to accept Kevin’s bouquet, but he did not care if she liked it or not. He simply put it on her desk.

Afterward, he returned to Hayden’s side and reached out to pull her but she evaded.

“Kevin York, please behave yourself and don’t get handsy.”

“Don’t you always stress that you’re a man? No one is at a disadvantage when a man pulls a man’s hand. What are you afraid of?”

After saying that, Kevin forcefully pulled Hayden to the sofa in the waiting area.

“I also bought you a set of clothes and a pair of shoes.”

He picked up the bag with the dress and stuffed it into Hayden’s hand. As for the bag with the high heels, he took them out for her and put them on the floor, saying, “Sit down and try these on to see if they fit. I visually measured your feet and bought the approximate size.”

Hayden’s face darkened again when she saw the pair of high heels.

She did not take the dress out, but by glancing at the clothes in the bag and looking at the color, she knew they were women’s clothes.

‘D*mn it, Kevin York. How dare you buy me women’s clothes and shoes?!

‘Is he so sure that I’m a woman?’

Hayden threw the bag with the dress back to Kevin and said coldly, “Mr. Kevin, you should give them to the wife candidate your grandmother had selected for you.”

After saying that, she turned around and walked back to her desk. She sat down and started to work as she did not want to deal with Kevin anymore.

Kevin took out the dress from the bag and unfolded it. He held it against his body and asked, “Is this dress not nice? I think it looks good. It’s the first dress I’ve ever bought.”
