“The man delivered food to Ms. Daniels once and then became her lover. That’s what I heard. After becoming her lover, she bought him expensive suits and ties. She even arranged for bodyguards to protect him and assigned a luxury car to him.

“It seemed like she was trying to make her into a second Zachary. Her desire for Zachary is so obvious.”

Anyone who had seen Zachary before would have mistaken the back of Jenna’s lover for Zachary’s.

After a moment of silence, Serenity said, “Even if he looks like Zachary, he’ll never be him. As long as it isn’t Zachary, Jenna can have whoever she wants as her lover. It’s none of my business.”

“Other people will suspect Zachary’s the person she’s being lovey-dovey with and posting on Facebook every day. The man’s face is never revealed every time she posts a picture. She’s obviously trying to mislead people into thinking that she and Zachary are together.

“She’s ruining your and Zachary’s relationship by making you suspect and misunderstand him.”

Serenity smiled. “I trust my man. I can only comment that Jenna doesn’t know Zachary at all. She was captivated by his looks after only meeting him twice. She’s too naive to think what she’s doing can ruin our relationship.

“Unless I catch Zachary red-handed, I’ll always believe him. Of course, if he truly betrayed me, I’ll give him and his new partner my blessing.”

Jasmine said, “You have a point there. I trust Zachary too. He took a long time to fall in love with you back then. A person like him won't be attracted to someone easily. If he were easily attracted to any beautiful woman, you wouldn’t have gotten married to him. He would also have had many women.”

While Serenity ate fruits, she told her best friend, “Jas, do you think I should pretend to have a fight with Zachary to satisfy Jenna’s scheme? It can make her think that she has successfully driven a wedge between Zachary and I, and we can see what her next move is.”

Jasmine smiled and said, “I want to support you, but my rationality tells me no. You’re playing with fire. Zachary won’t agree to this. Besides, there’s no need to guess because it’s evident what the women who fancy Zachary will do after destroying your relationship.
