Serenity and Zachary York novel Chapter 2015

Serenity knew the matter was important to Aunt Audrey. Her aunt’s mood would be affected.

Serenity said out of consideration, “You can take time to calm yourself, Aunt Audrey. Elisa and I will go out for a walk.”

Mrs. Stone nodded. She told her daughter, “Elisa, you can accompany Seren to have fun. Don’t worry about me. I’m fine. What problems haven’t I experienced in my life?”

She was a member of the Fisher family and the previous matriarch’s daughter. Her parents’ and relatives’ deaths were caused by her second aunt. She would require a long time to gather evidence and bring her second aunt to justice. However, it had been tens of years since the incident passed. Could she still manage to find any evidence?

Mrs. Stone told herself to calm down. She could consider the matter carefully only after thoroughly investigating the matter and confirming that she was a part of the Fisher family.

“Aunt Audrey, Elisa and I will be heading out.”

Serenity got up and gestured at Elisa to follow her out.

Elisa looked toward her mom worriedly.

“Don’t worry about me, Elisa.”

Mrs. Stone comforted her daughter again to reassure her.

Elisa knew her mom was strong and independent all along. It was normal that the issue shook her mom as it was related to her mom’s identity but it would not overwhelm her.

If her mom truly had a blood debt to settle, her mom would think of a way to avenge her family.

As her children, they would stand by their mother’s side with determination.

“Mom, Seren and I will be strolling in the garden. Call us if you need anything.”

“No. It’s related to Mom’s identity. Anyway, it’s a major issue. Mom’s feeling down now and doesn’t want Seren and me with her. It’s best if you come back to accompany Mom now. You’ve been going out fishing a lot lately for the entire day and don’t even spend time with Mom.”

When Mr. Stone heard it was about his wife’s family background, he was puzzled. He asked, “Your mom is an orphan. What’s wrong with her family background?”

His wife was almost sixty years old. Her parents and relatives had all passed away. Even if she still had relatives who were still alive, they would be very old. Who would remember who his wife was?

Moreover, his wife had said that she only had a younger sister while the rest of her family was dead. After looking for his sister-in-law for many years, they only managed to find two nieces. The last family member related to his wife by blood was his sister-in-law.

However, his sister-in-law already passed away more than ten years ago.

Mr. Stone still could not understand what was wrong with his wife’s identity.
