Serenity and Zachary York novel Chapter 2029

“I didn’t know you were on the other team. If my family isn’t blessed, your family will miss out too. If Hank and Liberty remarry, wouldn’t you suck up to her too?”

Chelsea continued to say to George, “Not to mention asking Serenity’s husband for a job, even Liberty can arrange work for us. She opened a new store, so wouldn’t she need people to manage it for her?

“If we make up, given that I’ll be her sister-in-law again, wouldn’t it be better for me instead of outsiders to take care of her new store?”

George also wanted to benefit from it, but he also knew that was a dream.

He pouted and said, “You’re daydreaming.”

Afterward, he quickly walked away and left Chelsea behind, lest being pinched by her again.

Chelsea caught up to him and still slapped him a few times.

They kept following Liberty and watched her and Duncan get into the car.

Duncan got into Liberty’s car. His car was driven by his bodyguard, who followed behind them.

“Come on, let’s follow them.”

Chelsea still wanted to follow Liberty, but George ignored her and said, “I’m going back to the store. If you want to follow them, you can do so yourself. I don’t have the time to do that. Besides, what’s the use of your following Liberty?

“If she finds out, she’ll only despise you more. Don’t think that she visited Hank because she has feelings for him—she doesn’t. She only did it for Sonny’s sake. Without Sonny, she probably would’ve celebrated with firecrackers when Hank got into an accident.”

George thought that Hank deserved what he got.

Even though Hank was out of danger, due to his severe injuries, the doctor said that it would take a long time for him to recover. Even if he recovered, he could not exert himself and do heavy work in the future.

This was his retribution for cheating on his wife.

George roasted Hank internally.

Chelsea was speechless.

At last, she got into her husband’s car and left the hospital with him.
