“You’re so beautiful. You’re pregnant, but you still maintain a great figure. Your charm as a young married woman is only increasing. Even Mr. Bucham is completely wrapped around your little finger.”

Jasmine snickered. “Everyone in the Bucham family is feeding me like I’m a pig, but you say I’m maintaining a great figure? I think you’ll see my belly start swelling very soon, but because of the fats. With how much they feed me every day, it’ll be strange if I don’t get fat. I want to work out, but Josh won’t let me.

“However, I can’t control my mouth. I was already a foodie before, but now that I’m pregnant, it’s become worse. My mouth is like a rabbit’s. It never stops.”

As Jasmine spoke, she got up and brought two boxes of snacks. “I brought these from home. They’re new products made by the pastry chef at home. I think they’re delicious, so I brought you two boxes to try.”

Serenity took a box and said, “Your pastry chef is really good at baking. I’ll give it a try. If it’s good, I’ll take another box back to the manor and let our pastry chef try and secretly learn it.”

“Are you going back to the manor for the weekend?”

“Yeah. I go back to the manor every other week to spend time with the elders. I also have many questions to ask my mother-in-law.”

Tania was eager for Serenity to learn faster so she could brush off all her responsibilities to Serenity.

However, the next month was Zachary and Serenity’s wedding. Serenity had to prepare for her own wedding, so she did not have much time to learn about managing the household from her mother-in-law for the time being.

“Do you want to come?” Serenity asked her best friend.

“Sure. I’ll tell Josh later. When the students finish school in the afternoon, we’ll go to the manor to spend the weekend with you. Wildridge Manor is the best place for a holiday when the weather is hot like this.”

Not only was Wildridge Manor beautiful, but it also had many trees. There was a lot of shade when taking a stroll there and the breeze blew from time to time. It was very cool.
