“We were lucky that Serenity didn’t take it to heart. She didn’t get angry and managed to persuade Zack. Otherwise, Zack would’ve gone on and on. It’s embarrassing for me, the father, to be scolded by my son like a child.”

Tania circled her husband’s arm with a smile. “You can have more of the food you like later to replenish your energy. You defended me from Zack’s fury.”

She had brought the prescription from her family and hid it under the table. It was her mistake.

However, it caused her husband to be scolded along with her by their son. She had involved her husband in her trouble.

“Let’s go and eat.”

At that moment, Josh and Jasmine entered.

“Mr. and Mrs. York,” they greeted the elderly couple sweetly.

Tania and Liam invited them to head for dinner together.
