Serenity and Zachary York novel Chapter 2129

Celine was dumbfounded. She only spoke one sentence. Was Caroline, who always rendered her speechless at home, actually upset?

Caroline even ran into the house aggrievedly. Was she going to tattle to their mother?

With that thought, Celine quickly jogged into the house. She could not let Caroline snatch the opportunity of tattling to Mom.

Was the country bumpkin changing her strategy of fighting for affection?

When Celine entered the house, she saw Caroline sitting beside Mom. Caroline was speaking, but she stopped when she saw Celine entering.

It was obvious that she had been tattling on Celine to their mom.

Their parents, brothers, and sisters-in-law’s expressions looked slightly off.

“Mom.”

Celine walked over quickly and squeezed herself between Caroline and their mother. She forcefully pushed Caroline aside.

Next, she circled her hands around her mom’s arm intimately and said, “Mom, don’t listen to Caroline’s nonsense. I didn’t do anything to her. She was the one who kept kicking or hitting my car and causing it to ring non-stop. I just told her off nicely.”

Madam Fisher said, “Oh, I see. Caroline didn’t say anything about that though.”

Celine turned to look at Caroline. She told her mom, “Wasn’t she tattling on me to you? Why did she look so upset just now?”

Madam Fisher glanced at her biological daughter, who kept silent. She explained in Caroline’s stead, “Your elder sister didn’t tattle on you. She did come in looking upset, but that’s because she’s sad about driving an old car. She doesn’t have a new car and said your car’s much better than hers.

“Carol, tell your sister to accompany you to the car dealer to get a new one. You can buy whichever model you want. Don’t say that I’m biased toward your sister.”

Madam Fisher looked annoyed when she said that, but she still promised Caroline a new car.
