Liberty laughed before she replied to the old lady’s remark, “Grandma May, since you’re old, you’d better not be out and about. You should stay at home so that we can always see you, which will lessen our worries. They say elders are treasures, and you’re our treasure.”

Grandma May grinned. “Even if you kick me out now, I won’t leave. I’ll stay here to take care of Seren’s basic needs. I’m worried my eldest grandson knows nothing.”

Zachary’s handsome face reddened and said, “Nana, even though I have no experience, I’ll learn. Later, I’ll go to the bookstore to buy several books and read through them. Parents usually raise their first kid by referring to books.”

When raising the second kid, parents could make use of their prior experience.

It was not easy for Zachary and Serenity to have a child. For now, they would not think about getting another child.

Zachary was hoping that Serenity could be as lucky as Jane to give birth to fraternal twins. In that case, his wife would only need to bear the pain of giving birth once.

It was unknown whether the couple would be this lucky.

“Liberty, you can chat with Grandma May, and I’ll make breakfast. Since you brought so many ingredients over, I’ll prepare a variety of food. Seren has a good appetite. She’ll get hungry soon after she finishes eating. It’s been a long time since we last stayed here. There aren’t any more snacks in the house. I’ll head to the supermarket and get some of Seren’s favorite snacks.”

While speaking, Zachary walked to the kitchen and shouted from inside, “Nana, please let Callum know that I won’t return to the office today. If there are any important matters, he can call me or handle them on his own.”

He usually would not return to the office since Josh would manage the company.

However, Josh prioritized his wife now. He would get off from work punctually every day and refused to work overtime.

Zachary had no choice but to enslave Callum.

Grandma May said, “Zachary, you and Serenity left too quickly, so you didn’t know Callum went to FC Manor. He’s not in Wiltspoon. Dr. Carden has promised Callum that she’ll come over with him to treat Camryn’s eyes.”

She continued, “I came back at such good timing. Not only is my eldest granddaughter-in-law pregnant, but my second granddaughter-in-law will also have her eyes treated. The baby in Seren brings good luck.

“You don’t have to worry about the company’s affairs. You should spend time with Seren these two days. I’ll let my other grandsons gain some experience. After getting some experience from our company, they’ll be more confident when they embark on separate paths in the future.”

Grandma May felt that it would be fine as long as someone would inherit the family business. She would not force all her grandsons to work for the family business.
