After the kiss, Elisa caressed Remy’s face before asking softly, “Are you still angry?”
He left soft kisses on her face. “I’m relieved that Julian has found the woman destined for him, but I was still shocked. You should be nice to me to calm me down.”
Elisa smiled, “I gave you presents and kisses. Isn’t that nice enough?”
Remy pressed her head against his chest and chuckled. “Yes.”
“Such a thing probably won’t happen again. If it does, I’ll probably have a heart attack.
“We should get engaged as soon as possible and have an extravagant celebration. Let’s make it even grander than Callum and Camryn’s engagement party.”
Elisa replied, “I’ll be waiting for you to throw the grandest engagement party Wiltspoon has ever seen.”
Then, she left his embrace and asked, “Are you busy? You can continue working. I have to return to my office too.”
Remy pulled her back. “Since you’re here, spend some time with me. I’m no longer in the mood to work.”
He almost lost his wife. How could he be in the mood to work?
