Serenity and Zachary York novel Chapter 2390

On the other hand, Julian would not tell Quinn about his illness if she had no feelings for him.

She was the only one for him.

“My guess was right. However, you should really take action soon to relieve your parents of their anxiety,” Quinn said.

“While my parents don’t often urge me to get married, my brothers have it worse. They even wear earplugs at home to avoid listening to my parents’ nagging.

“My brothers are too picky. Whenever they’re introduced to a girl, they would find the girl too weak for their liking. They want someone who’s on par with them in martial arts. My dad was so furious that he wanted to beat them up.”

Julian could not resist laughing. “It’s normal for your brothers to think that way. After all, they’ve been training since they were young, and most of their friends were likely skilled in martial arts too. It’s normal for them to want a wife who knows how to fight.

“Do you wish to look for a boyfriend trained in martial arts too?”

After briefly considering it, Quinn said, “That’s what I’d go for instinctively, but I think getting an ordinary boyfriend would be better. That way, I won’t have to worry about losing if I get into fights with my future husband.

“However, my long years of training and position as a coach make it difficult for me to get a boyfriend. They dared not meet me after hearing I was good at martial arts, for fear of getting bullied.”

Julian said, “You shouldn’t even consider men who think that way. How can they think about fighting after marriage when they haven’t even met you? Good men will only dote on their wives.

“Take Zachary for example. He knows martial arts and is pretty good at it. Although Serenity has had some basic training, she would definitely lose if they were to fight.

“But did Zachary ever do that? He never thought of fighting his wife. Instead, he’s always thinking of ways to treat Serenity well and make her happy. His sincerity was reciprocated, and now their loving relationship is envied by many.
