Serenity and Zachary York novel Chapter 2416

Zachary’s breath was taken away when he saw Serenity sitting in bed with a bright smile.

He knew that his wife was beautiful, but Serenity was not one to dress up often. Today, she wore her tailored wedding dress and the jewelry he had given her. He could not take his eyes away from her lightly painted face.

“The groom is blown away.”

Everybody snickered.

“Zachary, you must look for Seren’s glass slipper before you can whisk her away,” Elisa spoke, referring to Serenity’s wedding shoes.

Zachary approached to give his wife a loving hug. After releasing her, he felt Serenity’s jewelry and asked, “Does the jewelry feel heavy?”

Serenity was like the display unit of a jewelry store. She nodded her head with a smile. “I can still handle the weight.”

There were a lot more jewelry pieces that she could not put on. She kept the pieces in the jewelry box, which was open for everybody to see.

When Serenity first found out about Zachary’s identity, the anger of being lied to drove her to file for divorce. This scared Zachary. He wanted to assure Serenity that she was good enough for him, so he offered to transfer his assets to her.

Serenity refused to accept the assets.

Now, he was giving her his assets as wedding gifts to Serenity’s family.

Liberty adored Serenity, so she did not keep anything from the Yorks. She made sure all the gifts went to Serenity. After the wedding, Serenity would become the richest woman in Wiltspoon.

“Hang on. I’ll find your wedding shoes right away. We can have our wedding ceremony once I find them.”

He then whispered, “Do they have anything else in store for us?”

Serenity smiled without saying anything.

Zachary knew that his wife was on the bridesmaids’ side. He stood up and told the groomsmen, “Help me find the wedding shoes.”

All the men instantly went on a shoe hunt. Even after they turned Serenity’s room upside down, they were not able to locate the shoes.
