“You and Camryn are busy people too. How can I possibly ask for something like that? One meal before the day I return to satisfy my cravings will be enough.”

Lilian looked at the time and said, “It’s late. I have to leave now. Remy and Elisa are treating me to a meal.”

Since she said so, Callum did not keep her and together with Camryn, they saw Lilian off.

Death was part of the circle of life, just like aging and illnesses were.

Even a doctor like her could not heal herself from a terminal illness.

“I’ll bring my chef here with me next time. Please give my chef some culinary tips. That way, I won’t have to come to Wiltspoon whenever I crave your cooking.”
