In her anger, Carrie turned and gave Derrick a resounding slap.

A loud smack was heard.

Derrick felt a stinging pain on his face.

Even if your father survives, by then over a decade would have passed and the world would be a changed place. Do you think he can still regain his former glory?

“Your parents caused Uncle Abel’s death. Camryn is in power now, and she won’t let you live well. Even if your father gets out, she has ways to make his life miserable. You can’t count on your parents anymore. Forget about it!

“Have you realized where you are? Do you want to die? You dare to insult their second missus and call her a bitch, on York’s turf! You’re shameless! You’re driving us to death, and we are not going to die with you.
