Hunter was dressed up youthfully and appeared dashing. Looking at the hot young woman in his arms, Caroline muttered, “He must’ve been a heartthrob when he was young. Despite his age, he still looked handsome after dressing up.”

Zachary had accompanied her back to the room. When he saw her eagerly climbing onto the bed, he sat on the bedside and said, “You could’ve slept in the car and I could’ve carried you up.”

After sitting there momentarily, Zachary stood and walked to the study. He sat before the desk, which had a book on it. It was a book on pregnancy. He had been reading it repeatedly to memorize its contents.

He was clueless about pregnancy before Serenity got pregnant. Once she was, he wanted to care for her personally despite having many people around who could do the same.
