Serenity and Zachary York novel Chapter 2782

Kevin did not ask more.

They took the elevator to the first floor.

Kevin could not even kiss her while they were in the elevator.

He still did not dare to act as he wished in Queen Enterprise. Hayden needed to maintain her image, and he wanted to protect her dignity. After all, she was the CEO.

Kevin drove Hayden out of Queen Enterprise with her driver and bodyguards following behind.

She still had a meeting with Mr. Williams after the meal.

Liberty and Duncan were not there when they reached Fortress Hotel. After waiting for about half an hour, Liberty and Duncan arrived.

Liberty was in a bad mood. She pushed Duncan into the hotel and barely responded even though he kept turning his head to talk to her.

Duncan knew why she was in a bad mood.

Knowing that comforting words would not be able to improve her mood, he stopped consoling her.

Liberty had to adjust her emotions herself.

She felt slightly better when they went to the private room Kevin had booked upstairs.

“Duncan.”

Kevin quickly stood and tried to help Liberty when he saw her pushing Duncan’s wheelchair in.

“Kevin, Duncan can walk a few steps himself.”

Duncan said gently, “I came here for a short visit so I’m going back tomorrow evening. Things are busy at the company. I’ll bring Sonny over on Friday evening. He said he misses his mom.

“Sonny’s still young. It’s great that he isn’t making a huge fuss after Liberty left him in Wiltspoon, and it’s natural for him to miss his mom.”

Luckily, Sonny was raised by Liberty and Serenity since he was young. Even if Liberty was not home, he could accept Serenity taking care of him.

“I didn’t tell Sonny about my trip this time because it was a sudden decision. He found out I was here when he went to my house. He called me and said I lied and didn’t tell him I was coming over.”

Duncan’s expression was happy when he talked about Sonny.

It was evident that he adored Sonny a lot.

No wonder he could win Liberty’s heart over. His kindness toward Sonny was sincere, and mothers would always put their children first and foremost.
