Liberty asked vigilantly, “Are they monitoring my whereabouts?”
She had only come to inspect the factory, and she would not stay for long. Yet, someone from the Fisher family had found her here. It seemed like she was keeping an eye on the Fisher family, and they were doing the same to her. Well, it made sense. Her sole purpose in coming to Jensburg was to investigate the true cause of her grandparents’ deaths and reclaim the leadership of the Fisher family.
It was a heavy responsibility entrusted to her by her aunt.
Soon, Liberty understood. Being watched was normal. If she was not being monitored, then that would be odd.
“I’ll go out and see who they are.”
Liberty speculated that it might be the wives of those who had attended the Fisher family banquet that night.
Many of the family members had gone to the banquet and Jim was there too with Liberty. If these two were among the guests, Jim would have an impression of them.
Liberty went out with her bodyguards.
A car was parked at the entrance of the factory, and the occupants had not gotten out. When they saw Liberty approaching, the woman in the passenger seat leaned out. She wore a mask and sunglasses to conceal her identity, probably afraid of being recognized.
Liberty did not know them, but many locals in Jensburg did.
Liberty walked over.
“Ms. Liberty,” the woman greeted with a smile.
“Ms. Liberty, sorry to disturb you. Can we have a word with you?”
