Serenity and Zachary York novel Chapter 2951

“Dad, what if Cece refuses to leave?”

Adrian knew very well what Celine was like, having been siblings for close to thirty years now.

He did not think she would leave. She still hoped that Belinda would forgive her.

Besides, now that she had no source of income, how would she survive if they made her leave Jensburg?

Yes, Celine could get a job of her own to support herself, but she was used to being pampered and had developed an arrogant personality. It was very hard for her to humble herself to work for someone else.

Hunter was silent for a moment before he said, “Do your best to persuade her to leave and not to stay in Jensburg.”

“Alright. I’ll have someone look for her. Once she’s found, I’ll discreetly pass her some money, and get her to leave.

“Dad, you should get some sleep. I’m feeling sleepy too, so I’ll take a nap here,” Adrian said.

“Alright. You can nap on the sofa outside.”

Hunter felt sorry for his son. When he heard his son was sleepy and saw that he indeed looked very tired, he told his son to go lie down on the sofa in the lounge.

He too followed him into the land of slumber.

Meanwhile in Wiltspoon at around half-past three in the afternoon, Serenity said, “Jasmine, I’m going to fetch Sonny from preschool.”

Jasmine hummed in acknowledgment. “Go on, then. Go straight home once you’ve picked him up. You don’t have to come back. I have them to help here and I can handle it.”

She did not want her friend to be out and about.

Serenity said genially, “I’ll bring him over to Aunt Audrey’s once I’ve picked him up.”

Although few dared to harm Serenity now, the bodyguards still did not dare to let their guard down. After all, the missus was pregnant.

Serenity handed the guardian card to a teacher and waited for them to walk Sonny out.

“Hey, aren’t you the owner of that bookstore near the entrance of Wiltspoon School? Are you here to pick up your kid too? They’re old enough to be in preschool?”

A somewhat familiar voice spoke up from beside Serenity.

Serenity looked in that direction and saw that it was the young lady whose figure resembled Carrie’s quite closely.

Carrie smiled at Serenity and Serenity smiled back at her before answering, “I’m helping my sister pick my nephew up. Are you here for your sister-in-law?”

Serenity remembered the first time this lady visited her store. The lady had said that she was buying reference books for her brother-in-law and had also mentioned that her sister-in-law had just started attending preschool.
