Serenity and Zachary York novel Chapter 3047

Callum said, “I swear I didn’t flirt with anyone, honey.”

“I know. I didn’t say you did. I said you’re a fine, handsome man who attracted countless ladies.

“Men will stare at pretty girls or even fall in love with them at first sight when they spot one. Girls are no exception. They’re attracted to good-looking guys too.

“Tasha introduced a few of her friends to me during the banquet. I dare say it was my first time seeing that girl, but she was unfriendly and even uttered rude remarks afterward.

“I was puzzled. I’ve never offended her. Later, I found out that she likes you, and that I’m her rival.”

Callum’s expression darkened. He asked, “Who is she, honey?”

That person should have been grateful that Camryn was willing to greet her.

How could that woman be rude to Camryn?

Camryn pinched his face and said, “Don’t put on a dark expression once you hear something terrible. You’ve always been gentlemanly, but your cold expression can rival even Zachary’s.

“I don’t like seeing you in a bad mood, Callum.”

She could not observe his looks and expressions in the past because she was blind but concluded that Callum was a gentleman after interacting with him.

To the public, he was indeed a gentle person. However, he also had the dominant trait of a York man.

Sometimes, the icy expression he wore whenever he got angry was comparable to Zachary’s.

Zachary often showed his cold side whereas Callum was rarely angry. Therefore, it was scarier when his mood suddenly turned bad.

“I didn’t say anything. Don’t you think I know you well enough?”

Camryn brushed her fingers across his frowning forehead. She said softly, “I was just telling you what happened. I’m not blaming or misunderstanding you.”

“I don’t know her. I have no impression of her, nor do I know what she looks like.”

Callum replied honestly, “I only have eyes for you. Any woman aside from you or my family has nothing to do with me at all.”

“Ms. Abrams has had a crush on you for years. She should’ve met you a few times during banquets in the past. You don’t remember her at all?

“I think many other girls have admired you aside from her.”

Camryn approached him and pecked him on the cheek.

“I’m so lucky to have accepted your love and got married to you, darling.

“Otherwise, I would regret it for the rest of my life if you were to be snatched by someone else.”

Letting such a great man pass her by would be her life’s greatest regret.
