Serenity and Zachary York novel Chapter 3091

“ Alivia couldn’t take it and in her hysteria, an accident occurred and she passed away. That was how the heavy burden of managing this family fell on me.”

Caroline rarely heard Belinda mention her aunts.

Now that Belinda was talking about it with a complicated expression, Caroline very much wanted to ask her if their deaths were her doing.

The words were already on the tip of her tongue when she swallowed them back down.

She did not ask.

Even if she did, Belinda would not tell her.

She would even get mad that her own daughter did not believe in her.

“Mom, do you have a photo of Aunt Tiara and Aunt Alivia?” Caroline asked with faux curiosity as she munched on some cotton candy. “You said Liberty looks like Aunt Tiara, but I’ve never seen a photo of her, so I can’t tell. Liberty’s just her granddaughter. How similar could they be?”

Belinda was silent for a long moment before she spoke, “I used to have photos of them. But after decades, those photos faded so much that they were unrecognizable. I had no choice but to throw them away. Now, I don’t have any photos of them anymore.

“Liberty and her son do resemble Tiara. Liberty probably resembles her mother, who looked just like Tiara when she was young. Audrey Stone resembles both her parents, but it feels like I’m looking at Tiara when I see her.

“From their mannerisms to the way they do things and even their voices are uncanny.

“If Tiara was still alive, Audrey would be in my position now. If it were her, maybe Fisher Enterprise would still be standing at its peak. I’ve never been as good as Tiara and her daughter.”

Belinda admitted that she was not as capable as Tiara and neither was she as good as Audrey.
