Serenity and Zachary York novel Chapter 3198

“I’ve heard a lot about you, Mr. York.” Imogen greeted Zachary politely and offered her right hand to shake.

Zachary shook her hand out of politeness and consideration for Dylan.

The husband-and-wife pair led Imogen over to the sofa to sit down.

Dylan sat to one side. To hide his inner thoughts, he sat Sonny on his lap, teasing him occasionally and glancing at the rest out of the corner of his eyes.

After a few moments, Zachary asked the hotel butler to come in and they moved over to the dining table.

Serenity took the menu from the butler and handed it to Imogen as she said warmly, “Please have your pick, Ms. Doyle. The food here is highly ranked in Wiltspoon.”

Imogen did not take it, smiling in return. “You can order whatever you like to share. I’m not picky and since I’m staying here right now, I’ve eaten at the restaurant too, and the food is truly good. All the different cuisines taste authentic.”

Wiltspoon Hotel saw guests from all over the world every day, which was why their restaurant offered dishes from major cuisines. No matter the guests’ origins, they would be able to enjoy the taste of home.

“I’ll go ahead then.” Serenity ate here with her husband every day. She did not even need to look at the menu to order anymore.

Knowing that Imogen came from Huntington, where people loved their food spicy, Serenity ordered a few spicy dishes. Wiltspoonians did not like spicy food, so out of consideration for her family, she ordered a few non-spicy dishes.

“Do you drink, Ms. Doyle?”

Imogen smiled. “If you drink with me, we can order some wine, but you’re pregnant and can’t drink right now.”

“It’s all the same if I ask Dylan to drink with you. I can only drink once my cargo is unloaded next year.”

Imogen glanced at Dylan. “I’m afraid Mr. Dylan would prefer not to for fear of not being able to run fast enough if he got drunk.”

Dylan was speechless for a moment. “You must be joking, Ms. Doyle. Why would I run? I don’t get drunk that easily either—my tolerance is quite good.”
