Serenity and Zachary York novel Chapter 3261

The Chameleon Fox glared at Dylan.

He shrugged and said, “I’m telling the truth. Even if you want me to take it out now, I don’t remember where I put it. Otherwise, you can try searching in my house.

“Another thing you can do is to strip and search me.”

The little fox jumped off the wall.

Dylan panicked a little and opened his arms to catch her. However, he got kicked and stumbled backward from the impact. He did not catch her.

Nevertheless, she landed steadily before him.

Dylan let out a breath of relief.

Although her kick hurt, he pretended he was fine and only patted the spot she kicked him as if he was dusting off her shoe print.

“This wall is pretty high. You shouldn’t jump down. What if you lost your balance and crashed?” Dylan scolded her.

“You will crash. I won’t,” said the little fox angrily.

She reached out and grabbed Dylan’s collar. She pulled it hard until he was in front of her.

He did not resist and simply let her pull him.

The little fox searched through all his pockets. Aside from his phone and wallet, she found nothing else.

When she opened his wallet, her expression darkened. There was a small photo of her in his wallet. He had most likely taken a picture of her secretly and printed it to put in his wallet.

When did he sneak a shot of her?

If he dared investigate her again, it would not end with a simple beating.

Dylan was stunned when he saw his bodyguards return with bruised faces. He did not expect Chameleon Fox to be that good at fighting.

Although his bodyguards were not as great as Jim and his team, they were skilled in martial arts. The fact that they came back with bruises was evidence of her strength.

Dylan apologized, “It’s my fault. Don’t involve my family for what I did.”

“You’ve already done this twice, Dylan. You took my picture secretly and stole my stuff. You haven’t returned it to me even after I’ve chased you this far. I don’t believe a word you said just now.”

While the item he took was not big, it was meaningful to her. That was why she kept pursuing to get it back.

Otherwise, she would have just let him have it, out of her respect for Old Mrs. York.
