The man who coughed said softly, “I think I’m exhausted from all the traveling.”

The man who said he could demolish the door was loud. He was impatient too.

He glared at Gabe and urged him to open the gates. He would have taken the gates down without his companions keeping him in check.

“Dan,” one of them scolded him.
